The Other Draws Also Saw Some Cracking Draws Been Made By UEFA
Leicester City the last champions of England & the the only remaining team from England will come up against two time finalist Atletico Madrid. Leicester City who are seen as underdogs in the competition had earlier defeated Sevilla; also a spanish team to get into the quaterfinals.
Barcelona in the other draw will come up against Juventus for a rematch of the 2015 UCL Final, perhaps it might just end up as the best quater final matchup. Juve’s style has changed a bit with Gonzalo Higuain entering, while some of their key defenders battle the injuries that come with aging. Meanwhile, Barcelona just won an 11-goal back-and-forth battle with Paris Saint-Germain. If you’re thinking this will be a tie where Barca keeps possession, perhaps you might have a rethink Juve defends well, and there are only a couple of goals scored, think again. Both of these teams might be a little bit better at winning a shootout than a chess match these days.
While the last draw is Monaco drawn against Borussia Dortmund, the later already had defeated Man City in its quest for a quaterfinal qualification.
In The Europa League
Manchester United has been drawn against Anderlecht.
Jose Mourinho's team edged past Russian's FC Rostov with a 2-1 aggregate win in the last 16.
