Real Madrid forward and star man, Cristiano Ronaldo, has reportedly given the club a list of three players they must bring into the club next year, so as to strengthen the team that has struggled to perform in the La Liga Santander so far.
Madrid are eight points below Barcelona the league leaders, who currently sit top of the La Liga Santander table with 35 points from thirteen matches while Madrid have 27 points level with city rivals, Atletico Madrid.
Ronaldo
who has eight goals in five games in Europe, but has managed to net only
twice in nine league matches, as the champions struggle to impress on
the domestic front.
The Portugal captain has also been outspoken
on the club’s decision to allow experienced backup players like Pepe,
Alvaro Morata and James Rodriguez to depart in the summer & as well criticizing the coaching methods of head coach Zinedine Zidane.
Diario Gol reports that Ronaldo has appealed to Real Madrid president Florentino Perez to strengthen the squad. The
32-year-old would like to see Portuguese youngster Goncalo Guedes, PSG Centre Back Marquinhos and a new goalkeeper; David De Gea, Thibaut Courtois or Athletic Bilbao’s
Kepa.
